Hey, I’m Jaden.

I’m a Toronto-based screenwriter with a keen interest in writing for television. My experience includes a development room for a half-hour series, a BA in Theatre Studies and Playwriting, Second City’s ‘Original Spec Scripts for TV’ writing program, writing and directing multiple short films, and developing a web series I co-created with CBC Gem. I was also invited to participate in the 2023 Horror Development Lab at the Blood in the Snow film festival in Toronto with my gay comedy/horror feature film project.

I’m attracted to a variety of genres and kinds of stories, but have a deep affection for dark comedies and anti-heroic protagonists. I love smashing slapstick comedy and tragic circumstances together to see what might happen, then tying it all together with a sentimental bow.
