Hey, I’m Jaden.

I’m a Toronto-based screenwriter with a keen interest in writing for television. My experience includes a development room for a half-hour series, a BA in Theatre Studies and Playwriting, Second City’s ‘Original Spec Scripts for TV’ writing program, writing and directing short films, and co-creating my own web series, Ran & Jaden, which has been developed by a Canadian broadcaster.

I’m attracted to a variety of genres and kinds of stories, but have a deep affection for dark comedies. I’m also very passionate about telling queer stories, which is why most of my writing features queer protagonists. Some of my favourite series include: Desperate Housewives, Getting On, Search Party, The Comeback, Back to Life, The Leftovers, Girls, Alias, and Lost.
